Y’all probably know by now that I love basil. Well, a friend gave me this sweet, tiny Boxwood Basil a few months ago and it is just so precious! The leaves are tiny and the plant is much denser than traditional basil, thus the name “boxwood.” And its smell and flavor are just as strong as its bigger cousin. Mine has kind of sprawled out everywhere, and the branches that fall over are rooting into the soil, which is always neat. These tiny leaves are attractive in containers and perfect for sprinkling! Pick up some Boxwood Basil next time you’re shopping for herbs, you won’t regret it.
