After I took the photos for our screened-in porch, I played around with these pine needles and made a silly strand of garland. Isn’t it funny?
I noticed the shape of the pine needles was similar to the fabric garlands that everyone loves, so I strung up some garden twine and just set the pine needle cluster on top of the string – it’s not attached or tied or anything.
It’s fun, right? It’s different, at least. The garland is still hanging up but the pine needles are definitely turning brown. I think it lasted for about two weeks, probably. So if you ever need a silly, outdoor garland – there’s an idea!
