Halloween DIY Pallet Pumpkin

October 23, 2012

Last week, I did a mini Halloween craft and this week I’m on the opposite end of the size spectrum… A giant pallet pumpkin! Isn’t it cute? I think so. Silly? Yes. This definitely qualifies me as a crazy holiday lady. But it’s easy and festive and fun. Here’s how I did it.

Spray paint your pallet orange – I used a base layer of metallic brown and two shades of orange. The pallet I picked up from my local Home Depot already had those great yellow edges, so I left those.

Allen helped me cut my jack-o-lantern face out of plywood. Four triangles and a mouth.

Then I placed the face and screwed the pieces on. That’s all!

I love this Whit! (A little late, I know, but I’m clicking through your year-in-review post) Now I’m dreaming through what other holiday decorations I could do with a pallet…
