4th of July Fruity Yogurt Pops

July 1, 2013

Happy Monday, friends! Can you believe it’s July already? I can’t believe it’s already time for the 4th! We made these festive yogurt pops over the weekend to get ready for the summer holiday. Popsicles in the summertime are the best!

We mixed yogurt with three fruit flavors to create the red, white, and blue. We used raspberries and strawberries for red, banana for white, and blueberries and blackberries for blue. I got a star ice cube mold that I couldn’t wait to use, so we made stars of each color to include in the pops.

We varied how much fruit we included with the yogurt based on what color they came out as. Then we froze each layer before adding the next color. I loved the red stars, they were really crisp, so we put it in the white (banana) layer. So cute!

The raspberry and banana layers were the best! You could make any of your favorite fruit combinations  into a frozen pop. I want to make them again with mango and pineapple, I think. Happy summer!
