Everything But The Kitchen Sink

One of the first things we did when we bought our house (4 years ago!), was replace all the hardware and the faucet in the kitchen. The faucet was a small, thin brass one that actually wasn’t too bad looking, it was just really small. I wish I had a picture of it! If you’re tackling a kitchen reno or if you’re sprucing up your home before the holidays hit, check out the Kohler sale going on right now at PlumberSurplus.

First up, to my surprise, I really love the black or dark chrome faucet look. My friend Lesley just finished a massive farmhouse kitchen reno and it looks great! See the full details on HGTV Remodels. Anyway, I love her black faucet against all the white. I like it way the black ties together with the window trim and the shelf supports.

The brass and bronze look is obviously having a moment. Every kitchen we love this season is a combination of an apron front sink, a brass faucet and brass drawer pulls. But heck, I’ll embrace the trend, I do love the look! This one’s from Urban Orchard Interiors.

And that famous apron front sink… Swoon. A girl can dream, right? One silly thing I always wonder about apron front sinks, are they cold when you lean up against them? We all lean up against our counters when we’re chopping veggies or washing dishes right? I am super sensitive when I touch cold things (even our leather couch!) so I wonder if that would bother me at all? Or if its beauty would erase that annoyance? :)

There are some really beautiful faucets and sinks , I have always wanted one of those farmhouse sinks but have not had the budget for it yet.

The designs of the kitchen should be like them. I really liked it. i also constructed the kitchen of my new house recently. It is looking beautiful. the design should be such that it matches with the interior of the kitchen and it depends on you as to how costly products you want to use because nowadays there are so many different range products available in the market and one of them will definitely suit your pocket. I opted one designer for the kitchen. you can have a look at this , it is interesting http://noeldempsey.com/kitchens
